Sucofindo Drives Green Economy Development and MSME Empowerment

PT Sucofindo is strengthening the implementation of its social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) programme, integrated with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The initiative focuses on green economy development, education, healthcare, micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) empowerment, and community development.

Sucofindo President Director Sandry Pasambuna stated the company is advancing its TJSL programme to align with sustainable development goals and community needs. “We believe corporate growth must go hand in hand with improved community welfare, environmental conservation, and strengthening sustainable economies,” Sandry said in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday, 28 May 2026.

Environmentally, Sucofindo implements programmes supporting the transition to a green economy. Socially, the company enhances educational literacy, healthcare access, and MSME and community development across various regions.

Sandry said the company continues to collaborate with government, communities, and stakeholders to expand the social and environmental impact of its TJSL initiatives. “We hope Sucofindo’s TJSL programme can continue to evolve adaptively and sustainably, delivering not just short-term benefits but also creating shared value for communities and the environment while supporting national sustainable development targets,” Sandry added.

This commitment earned Sucofindo the TOP CSR Awards 2026 #Corporate Level Star 5, Golden Trophy, and TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2026.

TOP CSR Awards 2026 Committee Chair Lutfi Handyani said the accolades were awarded to companies implementing CSR programmes strategically, measurably, and in line with sustainable development. “Their systems, policies, and programme implementation not only meet standards but also deliver tangible positive impacts for communities and the environment,” Lutfi added.
