PT Sucofindo (Persero) has affirmed its commitment to implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and supporting sustainable development.

Director General Sandry Pasambuna stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that CSR initiatives are not solely focused on business sustainability but also add value to society and the environment.

“Company growth must align with improved community welfare, environmental conservation, and strengthened sustainable economy,” he added.

Sucofindo received the TOP CSR Awards 2026 Corporate Level Star 5, Golden Trophy for consistent Star 5 ratings, and TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2026. The awards were presented by Rasio Ridho, Deputy for Pollution and Environmental Damage Control at the Ministry of Environment.

Sandry said Sucofindo continues to develop measurable and sustainable CSR programmes, particularly in environmental aspects such as supporting the green economy transition, education initiatives to improve literacy and human resource quality, healthcare access, SME empowerment, and community development.

“The company aims to support the green economy transition while strengthening human resources and community economic independence,” he said.

Lutfi Handyan, Chairman of the TOP CSR Awards 2026 Committee, noted that the awards recognise companies that strategically and measurably implement CSR aligned with business goals and sustainable development.

“Sucofindo has demonstrated excellent and consistent CSR implementation. Their systems, policies, and programme execution not only meet standards but also deliver tangible positive impacts on society and the environment,” he said.

Sandry added that the recognition will drive the company to enhance CSR quality and innovation through collaboration with government, communities, and stakeholders to create broader social, economic, and environmental impacts.

“Moving forward, we aim for Sucofindo’s CSR programmes to remain adaptive and sustainable, providing not only short-term benefits but also shared value for society and the environment, while supporting national sustainable development goals,” he said.
