Subsidised Beef and Chicken Prices Drive High Demand at Cirebon Cheap Food Movement

The Cirebon City Government implemented the Cheap Food Movement (GPM) again on Thursday (3/9/2026). Various commodities were quickly purchased by residents who flocked to the GPM held at the Kesambi Dalam Football Field, Drajat Village, Cirebon City.

One of the commodities most sought after by the public was beef. Traders providing this commodity even had to increase their stock as it was rapidly depleted by the attending residents.
