JAKARTA (JP): Dancing class students from the Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Center will join with professional dancers tomorrow to demonstrate their prowess at the Jakarta International School, South Jakarta.
The event, supported by Abhyudaya, an Indonesia-Indian Cultural Forum and the India Club, celebrates the centenary of the birth of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, one of the leaders of India's independence movement under Mahatma Gandhi.
Director of the Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Center, J.A. Khan, said the dances and songs "will reflect the life of Netaji and his struggle".
The performance begins at 7 p.m. in the Little Theatre at school's Cilandak campus. (anr)
