Students perform 'IKJ Jump Street'

A Betawi traditional comedy, the lenong, and a parade of bajaj will go on show at the Jakarta Art Institute (IKJ) campus on June 25 from 10 a.m. to 12. p.m.

The shows, dubbed "IKJ Jump Street", is planned as part of the celebration of the campus' 35th anniversary.

Bands will also play rock, pop and traditional music throughout the day.

A highlight of the show is expected to be the parade of bajaj (three-wheel taxi) along the main roads of the city.

The student organizers hope the IKJ Jump Street Shows will encourage Jakartans to further appreciation of the arts.
