Students join expo in Korea

SURABAYA: A delegation of Indonesian students has left for
Pusan, South Korea to take part in an exhibition with other
students from Dongseo University.

The 20-member delegation, accompanied by three lecturers of
the Surabaya-based Petra Christian University, will participate
in the exhibition from Nov. 23 to Nov. 29, the secretary of the
School of Art and Design, Andrian Dektisa, said on Friday.

He said the delegation from Korea would in return participate
in a similar exhibition in Surabaya next year.

"We have been cooperating with Dongseo University for a long
time. Students from that university once received field lecturing
at East Java's villages in Magetan," he said.

Andrian said the delegation brought along 55 pieces of
artwork, including illustrations, typography, computer graphics,
visual communication designs and packaging designs. -- Antara
