Student Protesters Disband from DPR's Rear Gate

Student protesters staging a demonstration at the rear gate of the DPR/MPR RI building have disbanded. The crowd dispersed after delivering their orations. According to detikcom monitoring on Monday (15/6/2026), the crowd began to disperse at 17:30 WIB. The protesters moved from the Pancasila Gate towards Jalan Gerbang Pemuda and Jalan Asia Afrika. Traffic flow on Jalan Gelora, which had previously been diverted, was reopened. Traffic returned to normal. The crowd disbanded after delivering the ‘Student Oath’. Police were seen escorting the dispersing crowd. In addition to the rear gate of the DPR building, student groups held demonstrations around the Horse Statue area, Dukuh Atas, and the front gate of the DPR building. Representatives of the crowd near the Horse Statue were seen entering the Vice President’s office.
