Student Protesters at Dukuh Atas, Central Jakarta, Disband

Student protesters staging a demonstration in the Dukuh Atas area of Central Jakarta have disbanded. The crowd dispersed after delivering their orations. According to monitoring on Monday (15/6/2026), the protesters began to disperse at 17:40 WIB. The crowd moved towards Kuningan. Traffic flow on Jalan Sudirman heading towards the HI Roundabout has been reopened and is back to normal, though traffic is observed to be heavy. The crowd dispersed after presenting ‘11 Specific Demands’. Police escorted the dispersing protesters. In addition to Dukuh Atas, student groups also held demonstrations near the back gate of the House of Representatives (DPR) building, the Horse Statue area, and the front gate of the DPR building. Representatives of the crowd near the Horse Statue were seen entering the Vice President’s office. Meanwhile, students at the front and back gates of the DPR have also disbanded after delivering their orations.
