Student dies of drug overdose

JAKARTA (JP): A student at a private university was found dead with a needle sticking in one of his arms in a toilet at his campus in Cinere, Depok on Tuesday morning, a police report said.

The report said that 22-year-old Ragil Alam Kusuma, accounting student at the university, died of a suspected drug overdose.

A waitress at the cafeteria near the toilet had become suspicious when Ragil did not come out of the toilet for a long time, the report said.

The waitress eventually peeked in the toilet door and saw Ragil lying motionless. She then called her friends who broke into the toilet and discovered Ragil was already dead. (jaw)
