Erlyn said joint police personnel from the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Central Jakarta Metro Police, and precinct-level police have been deployed to secure the demonstration. The protest is planned for 1 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. “Security for the demonstration by the People’s Struggle Assembly Alliance (a coalition of BEM UNJ, BEM Trilogi University, BEM STIAMI Institute, BEM Paramadina University) in the Monas area, with the activity planned for 1 p.m. WIB,” Erlyn said in a written statement. In addition, officers have been stationed at several points to anticipate other demonstrations.
