The West Java Provincial Government has again extended the deadline for completing data entry for the Prospective New Student Mapping (PCMB) until Thursday (11/6/2026). The decision was taken to provide pupils with more time to participate in the PCMB.

Head of the West Java Education Office Purwanto stated that, as of Tuesday (9/6/2026) at 9.00 pm, there remained pupils who had not completed their PCMB data. He urged all graduates of state and private junior secondary schools (SMP/MTs) as well as those holding equivalency certificates (Paket B) to take part in the new student mapping during the extension period, which closes on 11 June 2026 at 11.59 pm WIB. At this stage, pupils select their target school using the available admission pathways.

“With this additional time, even more pupils will be able to engage in the mapping process and gain access to upper secondary-level education,” Purwanto said.

Once the PCMB data entry concludes, the announcement of pupil placements at target schools will take place on Saturday (13/6/2026) at 2.00 pm.

After the PCMB announcement, pupils who have not been accepted at any school are advised not to worry, as phases 1 and 2 of the New Pupil Admission System (SPMB) will be carried out. Pupils may choose schools where quotas remain unfilled.

Registration for SPMB phase 1 runs from 15 June 2026 to 19 June 2026, with the results announced on 25 June 2026.

Should there still be pupils who have not secured a place, they may register for SPMB phase 2, which runs from 30 June 2026 to 6 July 2026. The SPMB phase 2 results will be announced on 10 July 2026.
