Strong Performance Noted: 9 Company Leaders Receive Green Leadership PROPER Award

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Several company leaders have also received the Green Leadership award in the 2025 PROPER Environmental Awards. This accolade is given to company leaders or CEOs who demonstrate the best performance in sustainable environmental and social governance.

The CEOs who received the Green Leadership PROPER are:

1. Darmawan Prasodjo, President Director of PT PLN (Persero)

2. Simon Aloysius Mantiri, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero)

3. Aryo Djojohadikusumo, President Director of Arsari Tambang

4. Agus Priyatno, President Director of PT Kaltim Methanol Industri

5. Maroef Sjamsoeddin, President Director of MIND ID

6. Irwan Hidayat, President Director of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO)

7. Nandi July Anto, President Director of PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN)

8. Shadiq Akasya, President Director of Bio Farma

9. Garibaldi Thohir, President Director of Alamtri Resources Indonesia

It should be noted that the PROPER Environmental Awards is the government’s most consistent programme and has been running for three decades. PROPER is a performance assessment programme that encourages companies not only to comply but to seriously implement sustainability.

The number of PROPER companies in 2025 increased by 22% to 4,495, originating from 200 Indonesian sectors. The number of companies that must be monitored is 72,000, but only 5,476 have been supervised through PROPER.

Meanwhile, of the 5,476 PROPER participants, 2,437 companies are in the compliant category. Then, 2,886 companies are non-compliant and their performance is still far from expectations.
