The West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) West Java held its 2026 Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov), held in conjunction with the 58th anniversary of KADIN, at the Pakuan Building, Bandung, on Thursday (24/0_9/2026). The meeting served as a momentum for the consolidation of the KADIN West Java leadership, while simultaneously strengthening the synergy between the business world and the West Java Provincial Government to drive regional economic growth and development.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi; Commander of Kodam III/Siliwangi, Major General TNI Kosasih; the Deputy Chairman of the West Java DPRD, M.Q. Iswara; representatives from the High Prosecutor’s Office and the West Java Regional Police; the General Chairman of KADIN West Java, Almer Faiq Rusydi; the Chairman of the Advisory Board of KADIN West Java, Iwan Hanafi; the Vice General Chairman of KADIN Indonesia, Sarman Simanjorang; as well as the West Java KADIN management, Chairmen of KADIN at the Regency/City levels across West Java, and Extraordinary Members of KADIN throughout the province.

Governor Dedi Mulyadi expressed his appreciation for the collaboration established between the West Java Provincial Government and KADIN West Java. He also extended his gratitude for the ongoing partnership maintained by KADIN West Java under the leadership of Almer Faiq Rusydi.

“The relationship and collaboration between the government and the business world are essential components in driving the economic development of West Java,” said Dedi Mulyadi, affectionately known as KDM. This statement underscores the importance of synergy between local government and the business sector in facing various economic dynamics and challenges in West Java.

The presence of leaders and KADIN representatives from various regions serves as part of organisational consolidation and strengthens business coordination within West Java.

Meanwhile, the General Chairman of KADIN West Java, Almer Faiq Rusydi, expressed his appreciation to the Governor of West Java for his consistent support of KADIN West Java’s various agendas. Almer noted that the collaboration between KADIN West Java and the Provincial Government needs to be continuously strengthened with the shared goal of driving West Java’s economic development.

“We appreciate the Governor of West Java for always being present with KADIN West Java and consistently collaborating with us to build the economy in West Java,” said Almer.

In addition to strengthening ties with the local government, Almer also emphasised KADIN West Java’s internal consolidation agenda, specifically the completion of the series of Regency/City Consultative Meetings (Muskab/Musko) across West Java. Almer stated that KADIN West Java will soon finalise all Regency/City Consultative processes so that the management of KADIN at the Regency/City levels can be inaugurated simultaneously.

“We will soon complete the Regency and City Consultative Meetings in West Java so that this year, the inauguration can be held simultaneously in the presence of the Governor of West Java, the General Chairman of KADIN Indonesia Anindya Bakrie, and by inviting all regional heads across West Java,” Almer explained. This agenda is part of KADIN West Java’s efforts to strengthen organisational consolidation down to the regency and city levels and to ensure the organisational structure can operate effectively.

The 2026 Rapimprov also serves as a momentum for KADIN’s consolidation at the regional level. Nationally, provincial KADIN leadership meetings were held on 24 September 2026, coinciding with the 58th anniversary of KADIN. KADIN Indonesia has officially recognised Almer Faiq Rusydi as the General Chairman of KADIN West Java.

Through the Rapimprov, KADIN West Java is not only strengthening its organisational consolidation but also providing a space to bring together various business aspirations and interests with regional economic development agendas. This synergy is expected to continue developing through collaboration between KADIN, local governments, business actors, and various other stakeholders. The peak of the 58th KADIN anniversary celebrations was further enlivened by a surprise performance from legendary senior singer Hetty Koes Endang, which was warmly received by the attendees. The event served as a reflection of KADIN’s journey in fulfilling its role as a business forum and a strategic partner to the government in economic development.
