Strengthening the Banking Sector, Lintasarta Hosts CxO Forum 2026
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Lintasarta, together with the National Banks Association (PERBANAS), organised the CxO Forum Banking Update 2026 on Wednesday (13/5) in Jakarta. With the theme “Strengthening Banking Cyber Security: From Investment Strategies to Operational Resilience in the Digital Era”, this forum serves as a strategic platform for banking leaders, regulators, and national industry players to discuss enhancing digital security amid the accelerated adoption of artificial intelligence (AI).
As is known, Indonesia’s financial sector is currently entering a new phase of growth driven by the acceleration of AI utilisation. As digital innovations develop, the landscape of cyber threats also evolves, ranging from ransomware and advanced persistent threats to AI-based social engineering such as deepfakes and generative phishing. In this context, cyber resilience becomes a strategic foundation that enables the banking industry to continue innovating safely and sustainably.
Through this forum, it is hoped to create a strategic dialogue space to align perspectives that cyber security is no longer merely a protection function, but an integral part of the growth and transformation strategy for the national banking industry.
President Director & CEO of Lintasarta, Armand Hermawan, stated that banking digital transformation requires a new generation security architecture that is fully integrated with the digital ecosystem.
“When AI accelerates innovation, AI also multiplies the scale and complexity of risks. Cyber security is no longer sufficient as a defence layer, but must become a strategic foundation that is unified with connectivity, cloud, and AI capabilities in a real-time and sustainable ecosystem,” said Armand on Wednesday (13/5/2026).
Lintasarta, as a Beyond AI Factory, is present as an enabler of digital transformation through an integrated 4C service framework: Connectivity, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Collaboration. This approach is designed to ensure that every banking digital transformation initiative runs on a secure, sovereign, and AI-ready enterprise-scale foundation.
Through this approach, Lintasarta is not only an infrastructure provider, but a banking technology partner in building adaptive operational resilience in the digital era.
Vice Chairman General of PERBANAS, Hendra Lembong, emphasised the importance of industry collaboration in strengthening national cyber resilience.
“Customer trust is the primary capital of the banking industry, and cyber resilience is its guardian. Current threats are no longer future risks, but daily realities that must be faced together. We welcome this forum as a platform for collaboration to build a more robust and adaptive financial system,” said Hendra.
Furthermore, Armand positioned Lintasarta’s role in the context of the Indonesia Golden 2045 vision - particularly in strengthening national digital sovereignty as a foundation for long-term growth.
“The ability to safeguard data, systems, and public trust is a primary prerequisite for Indonesia to transform from a technology consumer to a digital producer and innovator. Lintasarta is here to ensure this transformation runs on a sovereign and secure foundation,” he asserted.
Through this forum, the banking industry can enhance its readiness to face cyber threats while making digital security part of a long-term investment strategy.
Amid ongoing digital disruptions, cyber resilience will be a key factor in maintaining the stability of the national financial system and strengthening public trust. With Lintasarta, the national financial industry has a technology partner capable of turning the complexity of digital threats into opportunities to build sustainable competitive advantages.
