Strengthening Strategic Partnership, President Prabowo Warmly Welcomed at Blue House

President Prabowo Subianto commenced his state visit to South Korea by attending an official invitation at the presidential Blue House on Wednesday (1/4). The Head of State’s arrival was directly welcomed by South Korean President Lee Jae-myung in a solemn state ceremony.
Based on observations from the live broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat, the welcoming procession began with the playing of the national anthems of both countries in sequence. Following the procession, the two national leaders walked together to inspect the ranks of the South Korean army’s honour guard.

President Prabowo arrived in South Korea on Tuesday (31/3) evening via Seongnam Military Air Base. Seoul became the next destination after the President completed his official visit to Tokyo, Japan.
In Japan, President Prabowo conducted a state call with Japanese Emperor Naruhito and held bilateral meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
This state visit to the Land of Ginseng is expected to serve as a crucial momentum to strengthen friendly relations and solidify the strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in the sectors of investment, downstream processing, and digital technology.
