Strengthening Sharia Investment Literacy, UIN STS Jambi Receives Audience from Indonesia Stock Exchange
JAMBI – The Rector of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, Prof. Kasful Anwar, received an audience from the Indonesia Stock Exchange Jambi Representative Office on Wednesday (22/4/2026). The event took place at the Rector’s Official Residence, Telanaipura, Jambi City, in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere of collaboration.
This meeting represents a strategic step in strengthening synergy between the academic world and the capital markets sector. Furthermore, the audience underscores a shared commitment to promoting financial literacy and inclusion within the campus environment.
During the discussion, both parties addressed the enhancement of the Sharia Investment Gallery’s role as a student education centre. The conversation also covered opportunities for developing more innovative and sustainable capital market education programmes.
The Rector emphasised the importance of increasing students’ understanding of healthy investments in line with Sharia principles. According to him, financial literacy is essential preparation for the younger generation in facing the dynamics of the modern economy.
On the other hand, the Indonesia Stock Exchange side expressed readiness to support structured and applicable education programmes. Therefore, this collaboration is expected to bridge academic needs with real-world capital market practices.
