Strengthening Public Service Digitalisation, bank bjb and Samsat Team Launch Samsat Banten Agents
Bank bjb, together with the Banten Province Samsat Development Team, is strengthening collaboration to deliver more accessible public services through the inauguration of the Motor Vehicle Tax Payment Service Centre (Payment Point) for Samsat Banten Agents. The launch, themed ‘Agen Samsat Lebih Dekat dan Mudah’ (Samsat Agents Closer and Easier), took place at the Curug Sub-district Office in Tangerang Regency. The inauguration represents a strategic step in expanding access to annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payments while reinforcing the digital transformation of public services in Banten Province. The event was officiated by Banten Governor Andra Soni alongside the Banten Province Samsat Development Team and attended by various regional government elements, law enforcement officials, Bank Indonesia, Jasa Raharja, district/city administrations, as well as bank bjb President Director Ayi Subarna, bank bjb Operations Director Herfinia, and the bank bjb management team. As a regional development bank, bank bjb remains committed to supporting the Banten Provincial Government’s programmes to improve service quality for the public while optimising regional revenue. This collaboration expands the partnership between the Banten Province Samsat Development Team and bank bjb to provide an annual PKB payment channel that is easier, more convenient, and accessible to communities down to the village level. Bank bjb also expressed appreciation for the trust placed by the provincial government, enabling it to continue contributing and synergising with a shared spirit of nation-building. Through this service, taxpayers no longer need to rely solely on main Samsat offices, as payments can be made via Banten Samsat Agents, whose network will continue to be expanded. The payment process begins with vehicle registration through the Samsat Banten Hebat (SAMBAT) application, through which taxpayers obtain a payment code as the basis for the annual PKB transaction. After obtaining the payment code, the public can proceed directly to make payments at the nearest Banten Samsat Agent partnered with bank bjb. All transactions are supported by bank bjb’s digital payment system, ensuring a faster, more practical process while maintaining transaction security. This innovation is part of the public service digitalisation effort that provides convenience to the community while boosting motor vehicle tax payment compliance.
