Strengthening Public Health Services through Stroke Friendly Programme with Survivors
Bidakara Medical Center (BiMC) Bintaro is strengthening its commitment to bringing healthcare services closer to the community through the implementation of the Stroke Friendly programme, in collaboration with the Yayasan Duta KRESHNA Indonesia (YDKI).
Held at Bidakara Medical Center and Apotek Farmarin Bintaro Arcade on Friday, 28 August 2026, this activity represents one of Bidakara Medical Center’s steps in developing healthcare services that are not only treatment-oriented but also focus on promotional, preventive, health education, patient assistance, and improving the quality of life for the community.
The Stroke Friendly programme involves stroke survivors, families, caregivers, communities, and the general public. The series of activities includes health screenings such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks, brain gymnastics, health education regarding strokes, and discussion sessions with medical professionals.
During the event, health education was delivered by Dr Dea Martasuk, Sp.N, covering topics related to strokes, prevention efforts, management, and the importance of continuous support for stroke survivors.
The collaboration with YDKI is part of Bidakara Medical Center’s efforts to build a broader health ecosystem through partnerships with communities and various stakeholders. Moving forward, the cooperation between Bidakara Medical Center and YDKI is expected to expand beyond a single event into various health programmes that provide direct benefits to community members and the wider public.
Asmu Ali Mauladi, Business and Commercial Director of PT Fajar Farmatama, stated that the activity is part of Bidakara Medical Center’s strategy to further expand the benefits of its services to the community.
“Bidakara Medical Center aims to be present not only when the community needs medical treatment but also to be part of their journey in maintaining health. Therefore, the promotional, preventive, and health education approaches, as well as patient assistance, are aspects we continue to develop,” said Asmu Ali Mauladi.
He added that the partnership with YDKI holds strategic value as it directly connects healthcare facilities with the community.
“We view the collaboration with YDKI as more than just a ceremonial activity. More importantly, it is about how this collaboration can continue to run and provide real benefits for stroke survivors, families, caregivers, and the community. Bidakara Medical Center is ready to be a health partner and support the development of health programmes with YDKI in the future,” he continued.
