PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) is strengthening its organisation through structural adjustments and a refreshment of its leadership ranks. This move is part of PNM’s broader transformation strategy to address business challenges, digitalisation, and increasingly complex corporate governance requirements.

Three new figures have joined the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors. Two individuals have been appointed to the Board of Commissioners: Marsudi Syuhud as Independent Commissioner and Temmy Satya Permana as Commissioner. Additionally, PNM has introduced new management personnel, including L. Dodot Patria Ary Suprianto as Director of Operations and Institutional Relations, alongside Kindaris as President Director and Sunar Basuki as Vice President Director.

PNM’s President Director, Kindaris, stated that corporate transformation cannot rely solely on changes to systems and business processes. He emphasised that organisational success is heavily determined by the quality of its human resources.

“Amidst various changes, PNM continues to strengthen various aspects of the organisation. However, the most decisive change is the human element—how people continue to learn, adapt, and grow into leaders capable of meeting modern challenges without losing human values,” Kindaris remarked during the inauguration ceremony in Jakarta on Tuesday, 3 June 2026.

As a company mandated to empower underprivileged women in the ultra-micro sector, PNM faces unique challenges compared to typical financial institutions. Consequently, the company’s transformation is oriented not only towards business growth but also towards fostering an adaptive, collaborative, and impactful work culture.

“We work with heart. We are here to empower. Every decision made by leaders must be grounded in empathy, exemplary leadership, and a commitment to shared progress,” said Kindaris.

This organisational strengthening follows PNM’s change in status to a ‘Persero’ (state-owned enterprise). This transition requires PNM to become more adaptive and agile while maintaining its core mandate of empowerment, which has been the company’s identity for over two decades.

Kindaris expressed optimism that the spirit of ‘gotong royong’ (mutual cooperation) and collaboration will serve as PNM’s primary assets in navigating this transformation. He noted that while the journey ahead will present targets and challenges, the spirit of collaboration will enable the company to successfully navigate the transformation process.
