Strengthening National Sourcing Networks, Thousands of Partners Engaged
PT Alam Bumi Sumberdaya (Alam Bumi Resources), an Indonesian company specialising in the trade and export of coconut-based products, continues to strengthen its national sourcing network through strategic partnerships with thousands of farmers, collectors, and suppliers across various regions of Indonesia. This move is part of the Company’s strategy to build a strong, integrated, and sustainable supply chain to meet the increasing international market demand for Indonesian coconut derivatives.
Currently, PT Alam Bumi Sumberdaya has developed sourcing networks in more than 10 major regions across Indonesia, spanning Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi. Through this network, the Company is able to support a supply capacity of over 50,000 MT per year for various global industrial needs. The supplied products include Activated Carbon, Charcoal Briquettes, Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), RBD Coconut Oil, Crude Coconut Oil (CNO), Coconut Shell, Cocopeat, Coco Fiber, Desiccated Coconut, Coconut Sugar, Coconut Milk, and various other coconut derivatives used in the food and beverage, energy, chemical, water treatment, and mining sectors.
The Founder and President Director of PT Alam Bumi Sumberdaya, Steven Djingga, stated that the Company’s core strength lies in its extensive sourcing network and long-term relationships with local partners across Indonesia. “We believe that the fundamental basis of a strong export business begins with a healthy and sustainable sourcing network. Therefore, we continue to build long-term relationships with farmers, collectors, and local suppliers across various Indonesian regions to create a stable, consistent, and competitive supply chain for the global market,” said Steven Djingga.
Through this partnership approach, the Company focuses not only on increasing supply volume but also on enhancing product quality, distribution efficiency, and developing more professional and integrated sourcing standards. The President Commissioner of PT Alam Bumi Sumberdaya, Toby Rufeo, added that Indonesia possesses immense potential as a global hub for coconut-based products if supported by a strong and organised sourcing network. “We see that Indonesia has vast natural resources. By strengthening the sourcing network from upstream to downstream, we aim to build a trading system that provides long-term benefits for both the company and local partners in various regions,” explained Toby Rufeo.
At present, PT Alam Bumi Sumberdaya serves export needs to more than 30 countries worldwide, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. International demand for Indonesian coconut-based products is considered to be steadily increasing alongside the growing global industrial need for natural, sustainable, and renewable raw materials. In line with international business expansion through the formation of Straits Group International Resources Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, the Company is optimistic about further expanding its global trade network while strengthening Indonesia’s position as one of the world’s largest supply hubs for coconut-based products. With a combination of an extensive national sourcing network, large supply capacity, and a focus on quality and sustainability, PT Alam Bumi Sumberdaya aims to continue growing as an adaptive and competitive Indonesian export company capable of competing in the international market.
