Strengthening National Role, Ade Jona Calls for Acceleration to Elevate HIPMI Entrepreneurs

Jakarta, VIVA – Calon Ketua Umum BPP HIPMI, Ade Jona Prasetyo, has emphasised that HIPMI requires a clearer and more integrated direction to strengthen the role of young entrepreneurs at the national level.

“HIPMI entrepreneurs must level up. We need acceleration with tangible impacts for the future of young Indonesian entrepreneurs,” said Jona in his statement on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

He also stressed the importance of HIPMI’s role as a bridge between regional potentials and national access, including markets and funding.

According to him, future HIPMI leadership must embrace all regions and strengthen cross-sector collaborations to create more inclusive economic growth.

“HIPMI needs leaders who embrace all regions, unite all lines, so that the impact is truly felt for an inclusive economy,” Jona stated.

Therefore, Jona invited all young Indonesian entrepreneurs to move together in the spirit of collaboration.

“We must be the masters of our own country. Let us step forward together, embrace, and collaborate for friendship and brotherhood,” he said.

For information, Ade Jona Prasetyo’s journey in HIPMI began with getting to know BPC HIPMI Medan. He then began contributing as a member of BPD HIPMI North Sumatra (Sumut) for the 2014–2017 period, and served as a member of BPP HIPMI in 2018–2019.

In 2020–2021, Jona returned to BPD HIPMI Sumut and was entrusted as General Treasurer, before serving as Chairman of BPD HIPMI Sumut for the 2021–2024 period.

During his leadership, Jona promoted the upgrading of regional SMEs, built collaborative bridges between large and small entrepreneurs, and strengthened the business sector’s contribution to regional economic growth.
