As a subholding focused on port support services and integrated port area development, SPSL considers workplace safety an integral part of all operational activities.

We aim to deliver services that are not only integrated but also healthy, safe, and sustainable in supporting the national port ecosystem,’ Retno said.
As part of implementing this commitment, PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva (SPSL) regularly conducts K3L awareness programmes through safety inductions, drills, exercises, and safety forums across operational areas.
These programmes aim to strengthen internal staff, external workers, and partners’ understanding of safety and health standards to create a more conducive operational environment. Additionally, the company implements preventive measures such as safety briefings, management walkthroughs, and regular safety patrols to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential risks early.
To ensure effective implementation, the company regularly monitors and holds monthly evaluations of safety and health programmes.
On the technology front, SPSL is enhancing K3L implementation through online safety inductions and optimising CCTV usage to improve field monitoring effectiveness. The company has also introduced a new initiative of issuing Safety Induction Cards to drivers entering the Pontianak operational area as a reminder to adhere to safety standards.
