Strengthening Integrated Security to Address Manufacturing Industry Security Risks
PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara and Kalbe Group have strengthened their strategic collaboration through a Joint Planning Session themed ‘Building Business Resilience Through Integrated Security Solutions’, held at the Kalbe Business Innovation Center (KBIC) in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/8/2026). The forum served as a platform for both companies to exchange perspectives and discuss strategies for enhancing security as part of efforts to maintain operational continuity and improve business resilience amid the evolving dynamics and complexity of business security risks.
President Director & CEO of PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, Dino Bimadwinanda Hindarto, stated that the security approach in the manufacturing environment needs to be comprehensive and no longer limited to physical security functions. ‘There are four main items in the security landscape in manufacturing, namely physical security, operational security, technology, and external context. So, as security people, we do not only look at the placement of static security personnel or patrols opening and closing doors, but rather view it holistically,’ said Dino.
According to him, the integration of personnel, operational processes and security technology, as well as an understanding of external factors such as geopolitical conditions, civil unrest, and disasters, is important for building a security system capable of supporting business continuity. Director of PT Kalbe Farma, Mulia Lie, expressed a similar view, assessing that partnership with a company experienced in the security industry such as Nawakara is an important factor in supporting business continuity.
‘For me, partnership is important and it is impossible for us to do everything ourselves. It is possible, but perhaps the expertise is not there, time is also consumed, and the cost may be higher. Therefore, partnership with a company that truly understands and is an expert in its field, such as Nawakara, is very important,’ said Mulia Lie.
He also appreciated the cooperation that has been established between Kalbe Group and Nawakara and expressed hope that the collaboration can continue to grow through various new initiatives. ‘The cooperation is good, increasingly close, and there are more initiatives we can undertake to consider what we need to improve further, collaboration and cooperation going forward,’ he added.
During the event, Nawakara and Kalbe Group also held a panel discussion involving experts from both companies. The discussion addressed various strategies for building business resilience through the implementation of integrated security solutions, covering human, process, and technological aspects, as well as mitigation of various external risks.
In addition, through a Product Showcase & Live Experience, Nawakara’s Product Solutions team introduced various integrated security solutions such as AI CCTV, Fleet Management System, Visitor Management System, Alarm System, and Truck Check System, designed to meet the operational needs of modern businesses in the manufacturing industry.
