Strengthening Globally Standardised Vault Security, Pegadaian Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification
PT Pegadaian (Persero) has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification for its Custody Services. This internationally recognised certification was issued by global certification body QSCert with official accreditation from the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS), under Certificate Number: Q-13543/26.
The certificate handover ceremony was held at Pegadaian Tower on Friday (21/08).
The certification affirms PT Pegadaian (Persero)’s commitment to implementing trusted, transparent and globally competitive governance of its gold storage facility (Vault). The achievement followed a series of rigorous independent audits (Audit Report No. C-01/R-QMS/VIII/2026), encompassing the alignment of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the strengthening of modern security system technology, and the enhancement of professionally certified human resources.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the entire end-to-end operational scope of the Custody Services. All workflows—from receipt verification, gold purity testing, administration, storage inside the vault, physical and system security, through to the return of gold assets—are tightly controlled to minimise the potential risk of loss, damage or operational irregularities.
