Strengthening Digital Risk Management and Governance, Peruri Wins Top GRC Award
Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (Peruri) is strengthening the implementation of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) in response to increasing business complexity and the digital service transformation currently being undertaken by the company.
Peruri’s Director of Technology, Information, and Risk Management, Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, stated in Jakarta on Thursday (10/9) that GRC is not only used to ensure regulatory compliance but also serves as a vital component of the company’s decision-making processes and corporate strategy.
“We view GRC not merely as a compliance instrument, but as a fundamental part of our decision-making foundation and corporate strategy,” said Farah.
According to her, technological advancements and changing risk profiles necessitate that corporate governance be applied in an adaptive, integrated, and risk-based manner. This strengthening is also being carried out in line with Peruri’s mandate as GovTech Indonesia, which manages the digital transformation of government services.
In developing digital services, the company applies security and privacy protection approaches from the design stage and integrates risk management into the company’s systems. This measure is intended to ensure that the development of digital services remains compliant with information security regulations, regulations, and principles of accountability.
Farah noted that strengthening governance is becoming increasingly important due to the utilisation of technology, the expansion of the business portfolio, and increasingly complex security and operational risks.
This year, Peruri once again achieved a 5-Star rating in the TOP GRC Awards 2026 and received the Golden Trophy, maintaining this achievement for several consecutive years. Farah also received ‘The Most Committed GRC Leader 2026’ award. These honours were presented at the TOP GRC Awards 2026 in Jakarta on Wednesday (9/9).
According to the company, the implementation of GRC will continue to be developed to ensure that every business policy and decision considers aspects of risk, compliance, accountability, and sustainability.
