PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) has recorded solid financial growth throughout 2025 amidst challenges such as global economic volatility, market fluctuations, and rising healthcare costs. The company maintains that a strong financial foundation and continuous innovation strategies were the primary drivers of its business performance over the past year.

According to the performance report ending 31 December 2025, Prudential Indonesia booked premium income of Rp21.1 trillion, total assets of Rp64.3 trillion, and a net profit of Rp2.4 trillion. Simultaneously, the company disbursed Rp16 trillion in claims and benefits to its customers. This performance was further supported by a Risk-Based Capital (RBC) solvency ratio of 466%, significantly above the minimum regulatory requirement, indicating the company’s ability to meet obligations to policyholders while maintaining business sustainability.

President Director of Prudential Indonesia, Tony Benitez, stated that these achievements demonstrate the company’s ability to maintain growth while ensuring service relevance for customers. “Market volatility and global macroeconomic conditions affect investment values, while rising medical inflation and pressure on public purchasing power remain ongoing challenges for the industry. We remain focused on strengthening our role as a trusted partner in building the resilience of Indonesian families,” Tony said in a statement.

Throughout 2025, Prudential Indonesia strengthened its product portfolio by launching several new protection solutions, including the PRUSmart Plan Life Insurance, which offers simplified application processes, and PRUSehat Health Insurance, aimed at expanding healthcare access, particularly for the younger generation. This launch coincided with increasing public awareness regarding the importance of health protection and long-term financial planning.

In addition to product development, the company expanded its healthcare service network through the PRUPriority Hospitals programme. By the end of 2025, this network covered over 1,700 hospitals across more than 500 cities and regencies in Indonesia, including vertical hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health. Prudential also established the Prudential Medical Advisory Board to support a more objective, transparent, and fair claims process for customers, addressing the challenge of medical inflation which is currently outstripping general inflation.

Beyond financial protection, Prudential Indonesia has expanded its preventive health programmes. Through the Breast Cancer Journey programme, the company provided 1,000 vouchers for early breast cancer detection to eligible customers. This was reinforced by the launch of PRULady Life Insurance, specifically designed to protect Indonesian women against breast cancer risks.

In the technology sector, Prudential Indonesia continues to develop its digital service ecosystem. The development of the PRUForce 2.0 platform aims to increase the productivity of the sales force, while digital services such as PRUServices and the SahabatPRU WhatsApp-based platform facilitate customer access to policy information and product services via AI-based chatbots. The company also conducts various financial literacy programmes, such as Cha-Ching for primary school children and CUAP Bareng Prudential for young adults, to strengthen public readiness for future economic challenges.
