State-owned currency printer Peruri has distributed four cows and seven goats to communities across Karawang, Jakarta, Bogor, and Purwakarta for Eid al-Adha 1447 H. Adi Sunardi, Peruri’s Head of Corporate Secretary, stated in a written statement on 29 May that the initiative was carried out in collaboration with Peruri Stars, the company’s internal social, artistic, and religious organisation. He said the distribution forms part of the company’s commitment to positively contribute to community welfare and enhance the sustainability of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Environment (TJSL) programme. Adi added that the action aligns with Peruri’s support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically targeting poverty eradication, hunger reduction, health and wellbeing, and inequality reduction. ‘Through this distribution, Peruri aims to remain present in the community as a company fulfilling the state’s strategic mandate while being part of a growing social ecosystem,’ he said. Peruri hopes the sacrificial animal distribution will bring blessings, strengthen community ties, and provide tangible benefits to recipients. ‘Moving forward, we hope this spirit of sharing continues to grow, with an increasing number of sacrificial animals distributed to benefit more people,’ Adi added.
