Bank bjb is strengthening its synergy with the Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation (YKEP) through the renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Utilisation of Banking Products and Services. This collaboration marks a milestone in reinforcing institutional relations while expanding the use of banking services within the YKEP Group ecosystem. The signing of the renewed MoU took place on Thursday (27/8/2026) at bjb T Tower, Jakarta.

The renewal continues the relationship that has been established between bank bjb and YKEP since 2023. Furthermore, the signing represents a step towards maintaining the continuity of cooperation and opening space for developing broader and more relevant collaboration suited to the needs of both institutions.

For context, YKEP is a non-profit foundation established on 10 August 1972 with the aim of improving the welfare of the Army’s extended family (KBAD) and the wider community. In carrying out its role, YKEP’s activities encompass the social, education and health sectors.

Bank bjb Corporate Secretary Irwan Riswandi said that to date, the cooperation between bank bjb and YKEP Group has been implemented through various banking products and services. “This implementation reflects the development of the partnership from an institutional relationship into a collaboration covering various financial needs within the YKEP ecosystem,” said Irwan via a press release.

On the financing side, bank bjb has provided Investment Credit facilities that can support investment needs within the YKEP Group ecosystem. The cooperation also includes payroll services that support salary payment management needs for employees within the YKEP ecosystem.

For individual financing needs, bank bjb also provides Kredit Guna Bhakti (KGB) and Home Ownership Credit (KPR). The presence of these two products expands the choice of financial services for individuals within the YKEP ecosystem in line with available financing needs.

The synergy is also strengthened through the Financial Institution Pension Fund Programme (DPLK). On the liquidity and fund management side, the cooperation includes fund collection and placement. This provides room for YKEP Group to optimise fund management needs while offering opportunities for bank bjb to expand business relations through fund management within the ecosystem of an institution that has become a strategic partner.

In the education sector, bank bjb has supported tuition fee payments for UNJANI and UNJAYA students through Virtual Accounts. The use of Virtual Accounts provides a more integrated alternative for education payment transactions while strengthening connectivity between educational institutions, students and banking services.

The cooperation also includes digital banking services that support transaction needs more practically and in an integrated manner. Meanwhile, in the health sector, the Hospital Management Information System (SIM RS) service has been implemented at RSGM UNJANI.

The integration of these services expands the scope of collaboration between bank bjb and YKEP to the health sector, while demonstrating that the use of banking services can be developed to support the operational needs of various entities within a single ecosystem.

These various implementations provide mutual benefits for both parties. The MoU renewal is also directed at enhancing banking service synergy across the entire YKEP ecosystem. With a broad range of needs, both institutions have the opportunity to continue developing new forms of cooperation that align with business dynamics and requirements.

With this renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding, bank bjb and YKEP are strengthening the foundation of a strategic partnership that has been built since 2023. The continuity of this cooperation serves as important capital for expanding collaboration while developing various new opportunities that benefit both parties and related stakeholders.

The collaboration between bank bjb and YKEP is not only oriented towards expanding the use of banking products, but also towards building a mutually supportive service ecosystem. Through the combination of bank bjb’s banking service strengths and the breadth of YKEP’s ecosystem in education, health and welfare, this cooperation is expected to create sustainable added value.

The MoU renewal is part of bank bjb’s commitment to continue building strategic partnerships with various institutions and to deliver financial service solutions relevant to partners’ needs.

Together with YKEP, bank bjb will continue to optimise synergy through the use of banking products and services that are increasingly broad, integrated and beneficial for both parties and all stakeholders within the YKEP Group ecosystem.
