Strengthening Branding as a Strategy to Expand Health Protection Services
PT Asuransi Jiwa Inhealth Indonesia (Inhealth) has undertaken rebranding as a step to assert its role within the IFG Life holding ecosystem under the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG). This visual identity update is part of a strategy to strengthen the company’s positioning as an integrated health insurance service provider, while simultaneously enhancing synergy with other entities within the state-owned insurance, guarantee, and investment group.
Based on data from the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) for the first quarter of 2026, Inhealth has consistently maintained the largest market share in the group health insurance industry. Currently, the company serves over 1.7 million users, making it one of the most widely used health protection providers for employees and the Indonesian public.
Marihot H. Tambunan, Compliance Director and Acting President Director of Inhealth, emphasised that the branding change does not alter the company’s legal identity or its services. “The branding change does not change the legal status of the Company, which remains PT Asuransi Jiwa Inhealth Indonesia, nor do the products and services, which remain the same. For over 17 years, Inhealth has been present as a health insurer,” he stated in an official release.
Inhealth has been part of the IFG holding structure since 26 June 2024 as a subsidiary of IFG Life. Since then, synergy has been continuously strengthened across products, services, and digital development. This includes enhancing services through the One by IFG application, which has been operational since 2025, as well as collaboration in Joint Insurance Products (PAB).
“We continue to strengthen synergy and move forward together with IFG and IFG Life to reinforce our service foundation as a provider of life and health insurance,” said Marihot. He added that disciplined risk management and portfolio optimisation also remain key focuses for the company.
Ryan Diastana Firman, Finance Director and Acting President Director of IFG Life, added that the momentum of this rebranding serves as a step towards strengthening sustainable synergy between IFG Life and Inhealth. “This synergy is expected to drive a protection ecosystem that is increasingly relevant to the needs of the community,” he noted.
This ecosystem is supported by more than 8,000 Inhealth provider partners, including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies across Indonesia and abroad, including Singapore. The network spans various regions such as Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, and Papua.
