Strategic Partnership Strengthens AI and Data Lakehouse Implementation in Indonesia
Indonesia’s data technology and artificial intelligence (AI) sector has entered a new chapter with a strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening the national digital infrastructure. Through this implementation partnership, companies in the country now have broader access to high-level technical expertise to design complex data architectures and operate generative AI solutions in production environments more efficiently.
The strategic move was formalised through a signing ceremony, effective from 30 June 2026. Under the agreement, Insignia, an Indonesian technology consultancy, has been officially appointed as a certified delivery extension by Databricks, a global data and AI company. Through the Databricks Delivery Provider Programme (DPP), Insignia becomes an integral part of expanding the Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) team in Indonesia.
The partnership grants Insignia full capability to design, implement, and maintain enterprise data platforms, as well as oversee machine learning solutions until they are ready for industry use. The agreement is global in nature, providing flexibility for both parties to support digital transformation at various scales. This enables local Indonesian companies to expand into international markets, while facilitating global firms operating in Indonesia to optimise their data assets.
The DPP is an exclusive partnership tier offered by invitation only to partners with specific technical capabilities. Insignia has become only the second local Indonesian company to achieve this designation. The achievement reflects the maturity of domestic technology talent amid high corporate market demand for robust data solutions.

Databricks believes Insignia has demonstrated the technical depth needed to help customers maximise the value of their platform. This collaboration is expected to overcome technical barriers to AI adoption, enabling Indonesian companies to compete in an increasingly competitive digital economy era. The integration of local expertise and a global technology platform is expected to accelerate the creation of a more resilient, secure, and innovative data ecosystem for various industrial sectors in Indonesia.
