Strange bedfellows won't have synergy
Strange bedfellows won't have synergy
From Media Indonesia
In their search for political allies, our presidential candidates have not described their political platforms and programs for the advancement of the country.
This gives an impression the political elite only seek to gain power, status and money. The would-be leaders' missions are actually of prime importance as points of reference when any pair of them is later elected to lead the nation.
Synergy in national leadership is also important. But the way the presidential nominees sought their running mates seems to have ignored compatibility and similarity of vision. It is difficult to reconcile differing visions overnight.
