West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has officially appointed former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti as the independent chief commissioner of Bank BJB. Susi was officially appointed during the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) of Bank BJB at Gedung Pakuan in Bandung City on Tuesday (28/4/2026). The Governor assessed that Susi is considered to possess high integrity. In addition to Susi Pudjiastuti, Dedi Mulyadi appointed Eydu Oktain Panjaitan as an independent commissioner. He stated that the selection of both individuals is due to their high integrity. “I convey that I always uphold integrity highly. For financial managers and financial commissioners, they must be people with integrity,” he said on Tuesday (28/4/2026). He believes that Susi Pudjiastuti possesses integrity and is a good figure to serve as a commissioner. Dedi hopes that both can quickly adapt and advance Bank BJB. Furthermore, he is optimistic that both will pass the upcoming fit and proper test at the Financial Services Authority (OJK). He also encourages them to pursue a good career in managing the bank. “Optimistic (about passing), how could someone with integrity not pass,” he said.
