Stop Press on Sunday edition

While I am well aware of the expense and difficulty involved in changing the front page of a newspaper, it is regrettable that The Jakarta Post failed, so spectacularly, to meet the needs of its readers on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The failure of the Post to even place a "Breaking News/Stop Press" is in contrast to its sister paper, Kompas, whose Sumatra editions covered the atrocity in Bali.
