Stolen kiss leads to hospitalization

ORMOC CITY, Philippines (AFP): Stolen kisses may be dangerous
to your health a 33-year-old Filipino man found out when he was
nearly beaten to death, police said yesterday.

A 33-year old man, a native of the central Visayan island of
Cebu, remained hospitalized for contusions he suffered after
being beaten with a wooden club by a 17-year-old village lass,
whom he kissed on the lips after sneaking into her room
Wednesday, senior police inspector Roel Acidre said.

Neighbors roused by the commotion rushed to the girl's house
where she was close to beating the intruder to death, police
said.

However, the man told police he would not press charges and
apologized to the girl for the stolen kiss.
