Stockbit and Bibit Open Up Opportunities for Digital Talent in the Investment Industry
Rapid growth of digital investment platforms in Indonesia is also opening a substantial demand for technology talent. This is evident from the expansions undertaken by Stockbit and Bibit, which continue to broaden their technology teams as the number of users and transaction activity on their platforms rises. In the midst of an increasingly competitive startup industry, the two platforms are not only focused on business growth but also on developing human resources in technology and digital products. Stockbit and Bibit HR Manager, Jhohanes Silalahi, said the company aims to create a working environment that encourages digital talent to develop while contributing to the development of financial products used by millions of people. According to him, many technology professionals do not only seek a place to work but also space to learn and experiment. Therefore, the company provides opportunities for teams to own the innovations in the products they develop. βTop talent typically looks for somewhere to build something with wide impact. At Stockbit and Bibit, every individual has room to grow while contributing to the mission of expanding safe and easy investment access for Indonesian society,β he said. The working environment in these companies is also described as adopting the startup ecosystem characteristics, namely dynamic, collaborative, and user-need oriented. Tech talents interested in the field of capital markets can directly participate in feature development, product experimentation, and enhancing user experience on the investment apps. The business growth of these platforms also drives the need for new talent. For example, total transactions on Stockbit in February 2026 reached Rp 107 trillion, up about 600% from Rp 17 trillion in the same period the previous year. Meanwhile, Bibit recorded more than two million app downloads during 2025, with around 1.7 million active investment portfolios managed via the platform. With the ongoing rise of digital investment adoption, demand for technology talent is expected to grow further. Stockbit and Bibit see the roles of engineers, product managers, and data scientists as key to developing innovations in digital investment services in Indonesia.
