Stockbit and Bibit Expand Tech Teams Amid Growth
The rapid development of digital investment platforms in Indonesia is creating high demand for tech talent. Stockbit and Bibit are expanding by broadening their technology teams in line with rising numbers of users and transactions.
Amid intense competition in the startup industry, the two platforms are focusing on developing human resources in technology and digital products, in addition to business growth.
Jhohanes Silalahi, HR Manager for Stockbit and Bibit, said the company is striving to create a working environment that facilitates the development of digital talent and contributes to the development of financial products used by millions of people.
According to him, technology professionals look for places to learn and experiment, not just to find a job. The company provides opportunities for the team to own the innovations in the products they develop.
“Top talents usually look for a place to build something with wide impact. At Stockbit and Bibit, every individual has room to grow while contributing to the mission of widening access to investing that is safe and easy for Indonesian society,” he said.
The working environment at these companies adopts the characteristics of a startup ecosystem: dynamic, collaborative, and user-centric. Tech talent interested in the capital markets can be directly involved in feature development, product experimentation, and enhancing user experience in the investment app.
The growth of both platforms’ businesses also drives the need for new talent. Total transactions on Stockbit in February 2026 reached Rp 107 trillion, up around 600% from Rp 17 trillion in the same period the previous year.
Bibit notes more than two million app downloads during 2025, with around 1.7 million active investment portfolios managed through the platform.
The need for technology talent is expected to continue rising in line with the digital investment adoption trend. Roles such as engineers, product managers, and data scientists will be key to developing innovations in digital investment services in Indonesia, according to Stockbit and Bibit.
