Stock Recommendations and JCI Movement Today, Wednesday 10 June 2026
A number of analysts predict that the movement of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today risks weakening and have provided recommendations for leading stocks in trading on Wednesday (10/6/2026). The JCI closed soaring 7.57% to a level of 5,746 on Tuesday (9/6/2026), following Bank Indonesia’s (BI) decision to raise the benchmark interest rate or BI Rate by 25 basis points (bps) to 5.50%. Based on IDX Mobile data, 708 stocks rose, 99 stocks fell, and 152 stocks were stagnant. Throughout the trading session, the JCI moved in the range of 5,318 to 5,746. Transaction volume reached 41.73 billion shares with a value of Rp27.80 trillion. The stock exchange’s market capitalisation increased to Rp10,098 trillion. A number of big cap stocks were the main supporters of the index strengthening. BBCA shares closed up 6.19% at Rp5,150 per share, BREN soared 13.93% to Rp4,090, BBRI strengthened 7.72% to Rp2,790, DCII rose 2.06% to Rp173,500, while BMRI surged 10.24% to a level of Rp4,090 per share. The MNC Sekuritas research team estimates that the JCI is currently in part of wave (v) of wave [v] of wave 5. It advises to observe the 5,184-5,282 area as the next correction area. ‘The nearest JCI strengthening area is at 5,763-5,784,’ as quoted in MNC Sekuritas research. Analysts estimate the JCI support level is in the 5,523 and 5,191 areas, and at the resistance level of 5,846 and 6,065. MNC Sekuritas recommends that investors consider a buy on weakness option for PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk. (CDIA), PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk. (HRTA), PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk. (INET), as well as a trading buy for shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. (BBNI).
