Still on Eid Holiday, Monitor Land Documents from the Palm of Your Hand
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Amid the Eid holiday moment, the public can still monitor land administration processes without having to visit the Land Office (Kantah).
Through the Sentuh Tanahku application, land service documentation processes can be monitored anytime and anywhere just from the palm of the hand.
This digital-based public service convenience has not yet been fully utilised.
Some of the public still choose to visit the Kantah directly to confirm the status of submitted documents, even though the Sentuh Tanahku application from the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has been available for a long time.
Sentuh Tanahku not only functions to monitor the development of land administration processes online but can also be used to ensure that owned land is registered and mapped.
Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN Ossy Dermawan said this, as quoted by Kompas.com on Saturday (28/3/2026).
“With this Electronic Certificate, we have combined it with Sentuh Tanahku. Our land or other people’s land can also be checked. So, if someone claims land as theirs or wants to check if a certificate is genuine or fake, everything can be checked through Sentuh Tanahku,” Ossy stated.
The utilisation of this application is starting to be felt by the public. One of them is Fitria, a resident of West Jakarta, who used Sentuh Tanahku for the first time when handling her land documents.
“Very helpful. We don’t need to go back and forth to BPN to check documents, just open Sentuh Tanahku. How far the process has gone, then if it’s finished, we’ll be notified. There’s a notification ‘it’s done, please pick it up’,” she said.
Fitria admitted she only recently learned about the application and felt its benefits in saving time and effort.
She assessed that this digital service makes accessing information easier without having to come directly to the office.
Through the digitalisation of services, the Ministry of ATR/BPN provides convenience for the public to monitor land service processes in a more practical, transparent, and efficient manner, including during high-mobility periods like the Eid holiday.
