JAKARTA. Lately, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) has been enlivened by acquisition actions of companies by listed firms. This inorganic strategy has become a choice to drive rapid growth in the performance of listed companies. Several listed companies have been active in conducting acquisitions in recent times. For example, PT Singaraja Putra Tbk (SINI) plans to acquire 99.99% of shares in PT Kemilau Mulia Sakti (KMS), a subsidiary of PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), with a transaction value of Rp 1.73 trillion. To execute this plan, SINI plans to hold a rights issue targeting funds of Rp 3.6 trillion.
