Stepping Forward with Hope, Pertamina Keeps Supply Readiness Ahead of Eid al-Fitr

Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero) has ensured energy supply readiness for the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (Satgas) 2026. During the Satgas period, Pertamina Group will be on 24-hour standby to meet Indonesians’ energy needs.

Muhammad Baron, Vice President, Corporate Communications of PT Pertamina (Persero), said Pertamina has taken a range of steps to improve services and energy supply.

“Pertamina has increased energy stock build-up to anticipate higher consumption during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period, particularly the outward and return flows,” said Muhammad Baron at the Satgas Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Pertamina Group press conference at Grha Pertamina, Jakarta, on Tuesday (3 March 2026).

Pertamina expects the peak of outbound travel to occur in two waves. The first wave on 14–15 March 2026 and the second on 18–19 March 2026. Returns are also expected in two phases, namely 24–25 March 2026 and 28–29 March 2026.

“Pertamina’s supply of fuel, LPG and aviation turbine fuel (Avtur) is currently in a safe condition, and Pertamina continues to strive to meet the energy needs of Indonesians during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Satgas 2026,” he said.

Baron projected that demand for gasoline would rise as most people undertake journeys such as mudik or leisure travel. Meanwhile, demand for gasoil would follow restrictions on operating industrial and commercial vehicles.

Other fuels such as LPG, Avtur and kerosene are also expected to rise.

“In light of these projections, Pertamina has placed the entire energy infrastructure on standby, from the upstream sector which remains vigilant, to fully operational refineries, to the downstream sector which will be on 24-hour standby. All Pertamina business units are also ready to offer promotions and the best possible services,” said Baron.
