Stepmother, Biological Father, and Biological Mother File Mutual Reports in NS Abuse Case; Three Reports Lodged
JAKARTA – Sukabumi Police have received three reports concerning allegations of child abuse resulting in death involving a child identified as NS by the stepmother and biological father in Sukabumi, West Java.
Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Samian stated that the stepmother has been named as a suspect in two reports, filed by the biological father Anwar Satibi (AS). Meanwhile, the biological father is the subject of one report filed by the legal representative of the victim’s biological mother.
“Regarding the victim NS, we have received three reports. The first was a police report dated 19 February 2026, filed by Anwar Satibi against the stepmother, Teni Ridha,” Samian said during a public hearing with Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives at Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday (2 March 2026).
A suspect was determined on 20 February 2026, with the stepmother, identified as TR (Teni Ridha), detained on 23 February 2026.
Additionally, police are following up on a second police report made in 2024. That year, Anwar Satibi filed a similar complaint against the stepmother. However, the case was withdrawn as both parties agreed to a settlement at the time.
The third report was filed by Lisnawati’s legal representative, Krisna Murti, representing the biological mother. Police stated they have not yet requested statements from Anwar Satibi regarding the allegations against him, nor from Lisnawati, given the family remains in mourning following NS’s death.
Samian emphasised that police are continuing to gather evidence to escalate the matter to the investigation stage. “We will proceed with professional investigation, without pressure from social media coverage or other external interventions,” he explained.
