Step-by-Step Process for Obtaining NIB and Business Permits for MSMEs
The following is the series of steps for obtaining a NIB (Business Identification Number) and business permits:
1. On the profile data form, MSME owners must complete any missing information, then click Save and Continue.
2. The following steps must be completed by MSME owners on the business data form:
a. Click the Add Business button.
b. Complete the required data in the business data form.
c. Once the entered data is complete and correct, click Save then Next.
d. MSME owners with more than one business may click Add Business until all entries have been uploaded, then click Next.
3. On the Business Infrastructure Commitment form, small MSME owners may submit applications for a Location Permit and Environmental Permit (where required), then click Next.
4. MSME owners can view a summary of the NIB and business permit data that has been completed, and may preview the draft NIB, location permit, environmental permit and business permit in the draft NIB and business permit section. The business owner may then tick the disclaimer checkbox and click Process NIB.
5. As additional information, micro-enterprise operators whose address differs from the business location domicile may attach a supplementary document, namely a Business Certificate (SKU).
6. MSME owners can view their NIB document, location permit, environmental permit and business permit in the NIB and business permit output section. Business owners may print their business permit in QR code format via the business permit QR preview.
