Stellantis and JLR eye collaboration on vehicle development in the United States
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Stellantis and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities for collaboration in product development in the United States.
Based on the company’s official statement on Wednesday local time, the cooperation is non-binding, whereby Stellantis and JLR will explore various collaboration opportunities to create synergies in product and technology development.
Both companies will leverage each other’s strengths to create value for both organisations.
“By working with partners to explore synergies in areas such as product development and technology, we can create meaningful benefits for both parties while continuing to focus on delivering products and experiences that customers love,” said Filosa.
Meanwhile, Jaguar Land Rover CEO PB Balaji said the collaboration will play a crucial role in opening up new opportunities for JLR in the future.
Any potential deal implementations resulting from the MoU discussions will depend on a range of general conditions, including the signing of a definitive binding agreement.
