JAKARTA — Rumours regarding the cessation of Gesits operations circulated among electric motorcycle users. However, the company has denied these reports.

Nurrahman, Corporate Secretary of PT Gesits Motor Nusantara, stated that the company continues to market its electric motorcycle products normally in Indonesia.

“No, we’re still selling,” Nurrahman said when contacted on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

“The products remain the same as before. We recently launched the GV1. The G1 and Raya models are still available as well,” Nurrahman added.

Regarding pricing, he cited the three models in Jakarta still ranging from IDR 23 million to IDR 28 million. The GV1 is priced at IDR 23,956,000, the Raya at IDR 26,500,000, and the G1 at IDR 28,330,000 on the road in Jakarta.

Notably, the motor is reportedly the result of a collaboration between Gesits and Volta.

In terms of design, the GV1 features a modern scooter design. The motorcycle is equipped with three riding modes and a reverse gear feature to support comfort under various road conditions.

The Gesits GV1 power supply uses a lithium battery with a capacity of 73.6V/27Ah or approximately 1.9 kWh.

With a single full charge lasting 5–6 hours, this battery is capable of supplying power optimally. The motorcycle is available in two range variants: 75 kilometres and 150 kilometres.
