State Secretary Speaks Out Regarding Search of National Nutrition Agency Office
The Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, has emphasised that the government fully respects the legal process regarding the search of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office by the Attorney General’s Office. The Palace has entrusted the handling of the case to the competent law enforcement agencies.
“Let us give the law enforcement agencies the opportunity to carry out their duties, and then we shall collectively observe and await the results,” Prasetyo stated in a briefing in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Prasetyo emphasised that the ongoing legal proceedings should be viewed as part of the government’s larger initiative to improve state governance. He noted that the government remains committed to continuous improvements in management systems and oversight across all ministries and agencies.
Furthermore, the State Secretary reminded all state officials that this incident serves as an important reminder to always perform their duties in accordance with applicable regulations. He urged all levels of government to avoid any actions that potentially violate legal norms.
“Let us all ensure that in conducting government business and daily duties, we continue to avoid anything that violates norms, especially legal norms,” Prasetyo concluded.
As of now, the legal process by the Attorney General’s Office is ongoing. The government has ensured it will not intervene, awaiting further investigation results to ensure transparency and accountability within the BGN.
