State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has revealed the reason President Prabowo Subianto summoned the Attorney General, the National Police Chief, and the Minister of Defence on Saturday evening. Prasetyo stated that Prabowo wanted to receive reports on the current situation.

“Yes, because there was an incident, of course he wanted to receive a report,” Prasetyo said at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

When asked about Prabowo’s reluctance to see public commotion, Prasetyo noted that the President wants all issues to be resolved without causing a stir. He said this was to maintain stability.

“Actually, it is not just about this particular issue. He has repeatedly conveyed to us, his ministers, that one of the prerequisites for building the economy is stability,” he stated.

It is understood that Febrie Adriansyah has been implicated in a case of alleged corruption and money laundering. Febrie has been named a suspect.

The case involving Febrie was initially handled by the National Police. The police conducted searches at 12 locations, ranging from the Cipete area in South Jakarta to Sentul in Bogor, West Java. Officers seized cash amounting to more than IDR 500 billion in various currencies, as well as 74 kilograms of gold.

Subsequently, the National Police handed over the Febrie Adriansyah case to the Attorney General’s Office for handling. The case is also being supervised by the Corruption Eradication Commission and monitored by Commission III of the House of Representatives through the establishment of a working committee.

Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Habiburokhman, stressed that the high-profile case involving law enforcement officers pertains to individuals, not the institutions themselves.

“There are several points to announce. First, Commission III has taken the initiative to ensure that the case widely reported recently proceeds within the legal corridor and is thoroughly investigated according to the law,” Habiburokhman said during a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office in South Jakarta on Saturday (11/7).
