State Secretary Explains Why Public Is Invited to Choose Logo for Indonesia's 81st Independence Day
State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has explained that public participation in selecting the logo for the 81st anniversary of Indonesia’s independence represents a tangible form of community involvement in the 17 August 2026 celebrations. According to him, the public is not merely an audience for the final result, but actively contributes to determining the visual identity that represents the commemoration of Indonesia’s independence. “The selection of the logo for the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia provides a space for the public to take part in the independence celebrations. This involvement reflects the spirit of democracy, mutual cooperation, and a sense of ownership towards our national symbols,” Prasetyo stated in a written press release in Jakarta on Thursday (25/6/2026).
