State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has responded positively to the public’s enthusiasm for choosing the logo for the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. As of today, more than 42,000 citizens have participated by voting through the available website. The public poll for the logo was opened on 24 June 2026 via the website https://logohutri.istanapresiden.go.id/. By Friday, 26 June 2026 at 12.00 WIB, a total of 42,151 citizens had participated in casting their votes. ‘The participation of more than 42,000 people so far in the selection of the logo for the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence demonstrates the public’s high enthusiasm and sense of ownership towards the commemoration of the nation’s independence day,’ Pras said in a written statement on Friday (26/6/2026). ‘This is not merely about choosing a design, but about helping to determine the visual identity that will represent the spirit, optimism, and aspirations of Indonesia going forward,’ he continued. Pras assessed that public involvement in the logo selection process also reflects the values of gotong royong and democracy, which are the foundations of national and state life. He expressed appreciation for the public’s engagement. ‘The government appreciates the involvement of all elements of society in this process. The spirit of mutual cooperation and public participation is a reflection that the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence belongs to all Indonesian people. Every vote cast is part of a collective contribution to strengthen unity and pride as the Indonesian nation,’ he stated. Furthermore, Pras invited the public to continue participating until the selection process concludes. He hopes the chosen logo will truly become a symbol born from the shared aspirations of all Indonesian people. ‘We invite the public to continue participating actively until the selection process is complete, so that the chosen logo truly becomes a symbol born from collective aspirations and can unite the spirit of all the nation’s children in welcoming an Indonesia that is more advanced, prosperous, and competitive,’ he concluded. This year’s logo selection for the 81st Independence Day features five outstanding works resulting from the creativity of the nation’s sons and daughters. Through a public participation mechanism, citizens are given the opportunity to help determine the logo deemed most capable of representing the spirit of unity, optimism, and the direction of Indonesia’s development.
