State-Owned Provider Wins SBBI Awards 2026 for Fastest Growing Network
The 27th annual Solopos Best Brand and Innovation (SBBI) Awards 2026, held recently in Karanganyar, Central Java, celebrated excellence across various sectors. Under the theme ‘Winning Value, Driving Impact’, the awards recognise brands, institutions, and individuals that have successfully delivered innovation and tangible impacts on society.
The ceremony was attended by Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi, local government officials, and various business leaders. Among the award recipients, PLN Icon Plus secured the title of ‘Fastest Rising Internet Service and Service Provider’.
Chipta Perdana, President Director of PLN Icon Plus, stated that the award is a result of the hard work of the entire company. He emphasised their commitment to continuous innovation to support the acceleration of Indonesia’s digital transformation. He noted that PLN Icon Plus actively participates in supporting national digital collaboration and innovation.
“This award is an appreciation of the collective efforts of all PLN Icon Plus personnel in providing increasingly high-quality services. We will continue to strengthen connectivity and digital solutions to provide added value to our customers,” Chipta said in an official statement in Jakarta.
Leandra Agung Tri Radi Putra, Senior Manager Regional SBU Central Java for PLN Icon Plus, stressed the importance of maintaining network reliability. He noted that the growth in user numbers must be accompanied by improvements in direct services to the public.
“We are continuously strengthening our network and enhancing service quality to ensure the public’s connectivity needs are reliably met. This award serves as motivation for us to move even closer to our customers,” said Leandra.
He added that PLN Icon Plus, as part of the PLN Group, is committed to expanding the reach of ICONNET and its various supporting digital solutions. This initiative aims to broaden inclusive internet access and build a sustainable digital ecosystem throughout Indonesia.
