State-Owned Enterprises' Profitability Deemed to Strengthen National Economic Fundamentals
BP BUMN, alongside Danantara, continues to strengthen the management of state assets to provide greater added value to the national economy. These efforts are pursued through integrated governance, disciplined investment strategies, and professional portfolio management.
Danantara’s realised profits indicate that the transformation in state asset management is yielding concrete results. Danantara optimises its portfolio of assets through a measured, innovative investment approach based on risk management. These steps drive increased returns and strengthen BUMNs’ contributions to state revenue.
The Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stressed that BUMNs must maintain profitability by strengthening governance and enhancing operational effectiveness. “BUMNs must ensure that every asset and capital managed works optimally to create sustainable added value for the state and society,” Dony stated in a written release in Jakarta on Thursday (14/5/2026).
Dony conveyed that BP BUMN and Danantara are also encouraging BUMNs to apply principles of effectiveness and efficiency across all operational lines. This focus encompasses not only cost control but also precision in asset allocation, reading global market dynamics, leveraging technology, and strengthening risk mitigation in every investment decision.
“Through these steps, BP BUMN supports Danantara in preserving and growing the value of state wealth sustainably,” Dony said.
Dony hopes that the improved profitability of BUMNs can strengthen national economic fundamentals through increased dividends, asset value growth, and greater contributions to development and societal welfare.
